I think I'm turning into a dial nerd!
Thanks Francesco it answers my question.
There seem to be a number of Autavia dials that carry the different font and design on the right hand dial and usually the Heuer logo under the Autavia script is slightly larger too which looking at your original pictures is the case on your GMT.
I think the lume markers are a slightly different shape/size also.
ha: Hey Thomas:
: You have good eyes! Believe it or not, this dial have been
: installed by TG in Switzerland last spring. I am now learning
: that it typically belongs to manual GMT's. Fortunately, at that
: time TG's policy still included the returning of replaced parts.
: Therefore I am able to show below the original dial that was
: removed. It is a good exercise, certainly for me, to visualize
: the differences you were mentioning.
: Happy 2011.
