Hey Paul:
All is well here and, yes, the GMT is soon heading north. I admire you for your strength in keeping yours behind glass, in a sort of Haslinger approach. Maybe we will witness 'The Gavin Collection' at Bonhams for the Heuer's 175th anniversary...:-)
As many of us, I 'need' to wear all my watches and I ended up only staring at this beautiful GMT, without wearing it. It is going to a good home and that helps in sweetening the pill of the regrets I will have.
Hope all is good in the Old Continent. Happy new year to you and to all the folks gathered over there three weeks ago. What a fantastic time, with such a fine, fine crowd....
Cheers,
Francesco
: Hi Francesco - I have been meaning to contact you since London.
: Hope you are well and not planning any surveys in these
: conditions.
: So you decided to let your GMT go - brave man. We discussed this
: one and the dilemma of its beauty versus wear ability. Mine
: stays behind glass like a museum piece to be admired not
: touched. There is nothing quite like a new GMT bezel - its sings
: its own song.
: Best wishes for the New Year my friend
: Regards
: Paul
