The Navia 8-day clock was designed to be mounted on the dashboard of a boat, and features a waterproof case. It uses the same movement and hands as the Master Time, and the dial is almost identical (except that it says "Navia" instead of "Master Time").
In terms of their vintage, you might want to check through some of the catalogs OnTheDash. I am guessing that the Navia was produced from the late 1960's through the late 1970's. These catalogs will also describe the construction and purposes of the Navia.
Thanks for the inquiry.

: I have a Navia. The # on the back is 22049. I
: would like to know the age of this watch (
: or is it a clock?). I am also curious about
: the Navia'a status on this sight. Many
: mountable pieces are describeb but the Navia
: is not. How come?
: I sent a picture of the watch to several of the
: dealers I found under "links" but
: they either did not reply or said they were
: unfamiliar with the Navia.
: would appreciate any info anyone has.
: Thanks-Les Cizek
