David:
Unfortunately, my list of Serial Numbers is very thin when it comes to the Silverstones (and other mid-1970's Heuers).
I have a note from one collector, who owns a few of them, that 3073xx is his lowest SN; unfortunately, I failed to ask him about his highest SN for a Silverstone . . . forgive me, I was young then.
Let's see what we can gather now; post the SNs or send them to me, and we'll see what we can learn. I suspect that they will be in a relatively tight range, given the low production.

: Would any of you kind ladies and gents be able to help me date my
: Silverstone please? It's serial number is 3096xx and it's a red
: one. Through browsing the catalog section of OTD I can see the
: reds were only in the catalogs between 74-76 but hopefully
: someone might be able to be more specific. 1976 would be nice as
: that's the year I was born!
: Thanks
