I'm in general not a big fan of reluming. Not because I consider it's a crime but rather because it is a tricky operation to handle with uncertain results at the end.
The right watchmaker who does this the right way is not so common.
What we see very often are poor results handled with Luminova giving a greenish color on dial/hands, if not handled the pastry way like this poor EBay Carrera.
I also keep in mind the photos we show off show more than naked eyes can see when the watch is worn.
But if I was lucky enough to find a rare grail (say a Chronomatic something for example) with all the dial lume missing,
I certainly would decide to do it, but I would really take my time to find the right talented craftsman.
Here's one that could deserve a reluming that I will never do because I just love it as it is.
