Yes as Jeff & Paul say this is a redial and seeing as much of the value and collectability of vintage watches is tied up in te dial it would not be a wise watch to purchase because of this.
The paint finish and all details including size and positioning of the script are incorrect. Actually looks as though they kept the original sub reg on this one and of course the hour markers and hands are original.
There is a very good chance the seller has no idea so i shouldnt think they are trying it on, these redials fool pretty much all non Heuer collectors and probably a fair few of us still!
Check my website out, looking at the original dials in detail, makes the "issues" easier to spot.
