Yes I noticed this variation which makes the watch even more appealing to me.
The double blue disc ads a great contrast to the dial indeed.

Regarding case engraving, I thought correct engraving between the lugs was 2446SF (for Seafarer I presume) as shown in this document :
Regarding the hands, you also confirmed what I thought but it was only a guess.
It seems there's a 3rd variation with hands having a look at this document,
these look like regular 2446 hands, correct ?
So, as a synthesis, we should be able to say we know these executions of the Mareographe :
1/early ones with single light blue disc and "fat" steel hands
2/later ones with double blue disc and Bund style hands (basically like the Orvis but Heuer branded dial)
3/The Meister dial from Albi.
But it seems others variations have existed when looking at the 2nd document.
Any clue somebody ?
