Jeff - I generally stay away from the dial but sometimes the lume can be cleaned up. I recently did the Breitling posted on 1/1/11 with the shoe leather strap. I mixed some color into the lume on the hands (which I repainted) to give it that patina look and try to match the patina on the dial lume markers after cleaning them. Craig
