So its pretty clear these are fakes, but it is interesting how they developed as a fake spur of Heuer. I am with Jeff on being extremely curious to learn about their provenance. As a 60's watch, they, forgive me, "mapped" into the design vocabulary of the time--large, awkward case looking like it was designed by a young diplomatic attache on the weekend. But clearly someone was committed to creating enough of these with a fairly consistent look that it suggests it might have been someone with a close affiliation to Heuer.
