Ape,
I think Jeff was on about a different 112.603 - a NOS one which was on the UK ebay before the current one (with a dinged bezel) was listed. Funny how you never see these and 3 appear in a matter of a couple of weeks !
I did contact the seller of the UK NOS version, I got a response (not open to discussing price). Since then I've heard nothing back from more communication.
Cheers
Stewart
: My watch comes from Switzerland home of Tag Heuer plant.
: Of course an all NOS watch can not be compared with the poor piece
: shown on ebay currently.
: And Yes I paid a good premium to this. Its the first real NOS
: 112.603 I did hold in my hand.
: However I believe the watch even without bracelet will make a good
: price: they become rare these days.
: The analysis shows:
: - bezel insert has a ding
: - bezel has several dings
: - lume in bezel insert darkend
: - hands are not gloss anymore and may be damaged by lume
: - lume darkend
: - lume on dial gone or lume in markers damaged
: and and and
: Main problem in my eyes is the crown. its not the original
: one...and may be even not PVD. hard to see...sure to small
: diameter....
: So lets guess 1200-1400 Euro for this piece
