There are a fair number of Rally-Master pairs offered over the course of a year -- probably in the range of six or eight pairs, considering ebay and the obvious dealer websites.
Of these, I would distinguish between the "proper pairs" -- put together at the factory and sold as such -- and those sets that are created in modern times by pairing a Master Time and a Monte Carlo. The "proper pair" will have some added value for being created by Heuer, and will also have the advantages of actually being the same vintage and showing similar aging. It is difficult to achieve this same look and accuracy in a newly-created pair.
The earlier ones (three-button Monte Carlo and 3-6-9-12 on the Master Time) tend to be more scarce than the later ones (two-button Monte Carlo and numerals 1 through 12 on the dial).
Putting all this together, I would estimate approximately $3000 for a top quality later pair -- a proper factory pair; recently serviced; in excellent condition.
I hope that this is helpful and thanks again for the inquiry. If you are searching for a pair, please kepp us informed of your progress.
