Sorry- should have clearer. I am wondering if these really were made by Heuer. Most of the well-known poor mans Heuer/ Zodiacs used Heuer cases, so we know that Heuer made them.
This watch doesn't use a Heuer case, so does that mean it was made by someone else and we are mistaken to label this a poor-mans Heuer..I imagine Zodiac sourced watches from several suppliers.
: well, it's not a Heuer, it's a Zodiac, but made by Heuer for
: Zodiac... I'm assuming these were coined 'poormans' since the
: Heuer Carrera sold for $89 and these 'Carrera'-like watches
: produced by Heuer for other brands (Zodiac, Clebar, Hamilton,
: Tradition) sold for quite a bit less... some even had VJ72
: movements!
: cheers,
: Peter
