This book has lots of neat stuff and the illustrations are great. I have an earlier edition (1956), and page 59 shows the Abercrombie Auto-Graph, the Abercrombie Autavia (dash-mounted), the Longines Olympic and the Abercrombie Auto-Mark. Interestingly, the "Timepieces" chapter refers to two companies that had distinguished themselves in navigational and sports-event timing: Longines-Wittnauer and Wakmann. Heuer is not mentioned, even though they actually made the Abercrombie timepieces that are shown.
It will be interesting to see whether there is any updating in the later edition.
