A shame about the Carrera 1158 CHN, which did not sell. Seems that it suffered from (a) uncertainty about the inner bezel (tachy / pulse ring) and (b) poor quality auction catalog photos.
Shown above is a photo of the watch, sent to me by Bonhams; shown below is the photo from the online catalog. I wonder why they can't do better with the photos for the catalogs? The washed out photos just do not generate the same excitement as the strong ones.
