Jeff Stein and I were talking recently and the topic of Gallet watches came up. Jeff and I both see that there was some overlap between those that might admire and collect vintage Gallet watches and those that might admire and collect vintage Heuer watches. Both of these Swiss watch companies seemed to specialize in chronographs. Jeff mentioned that he was first becoming interested in vintage chronographs that he had purchased a couple Gallet watches. I also happen to really like vintage Gallet watches, particularly Flying Officers. I am fortunate to have an extremely early one like the one Harry Truman had.
