The trading price for gold puts a hard floor on what you can sensibly ask for the watch of circa £3.3k/€3.7k/$5.3k and, though we know there are collectors of Heuer divers, that price is already possibly a bit rich. For a very niche watch. I hope they do find a buyer though, it would be a shame to scrap it for bullion.
