I have a "cheat sheat" of serial numbers, from the time that Heuer started putting them "between the lugs", into the 1980s. At the moment, there are around 400 serial numbers on the "cheat sheet", including lots of Carreras.
I will be writing soon about what we might / could / should be doing re a serial number database / registry / list / etc. Of course, this is a question for the entire community to address.
