Paul,

I had the same problem 6-7 years ago when a 1533G came back from TAG Service. The new dial however had a watchmaker's scratch which I noticed in the shop while picking the watch up. When I showed it, they gave me the choice to take the watch and pay € 0 for the service, or have it sent back for a free re-service. I think you can ask the same.
