The outer checkerboard pattern seems to be taken from an Omega Dynamic with "racing" dial.
Totally a mishmash of design elements.
: I agree. If memory serves me correctly, Heuer never used the French
: spelling of 'Chronograph' and 'Swiss' on their dials.
