Use of Rotating Tachymeter Bezel

I will post a message, explaining the use (and usefulness) of a rotating tachymeter bezel, but it will take a while . . . hopefully, by the end of the day (or night).

Thanks for the interesting question!!

: Could someone please explain something I must not be getting about
: these Autavia models such as the Viceroy ...

: With the bezel marked as a tachymeter from 400 to 60 or so, what is
: the functional benefit of having it rotate?

: I can imagine that you could align the triangle with the minute
: hand to see elapsed time movement, but it isn't directly
: readable from the bezel scale, is it?

: I've seen other bezels that have decimal markings, but ... would
: one ever rotate the Tachy bezel?
