I'm the purveyor of said Carerra

I read with interest all your comments regarding this watch and my girlfriend and the situation I find myself in. The invoice that I have from Bonhams is £1612 which includes all commissions and buyers fee etc. It's true that the purchase has caused some discomfort at home ( deaf and dumb dinners , sleeping in the spare room and a deafening silence for a few days)but I think she is coming round to the fact that I like watches and I did explain that it is just a cheap one compared to others that she has caught a glimpse of. However, she has a valid point when she says that the bathroom could be re-fitted or a holiday taken or even put the money towards legal fees for the new house in a few months time. This was an impulse buy and I must admit that I had already had a few cold drinks before bidding on it which could have impaired my judgement and I suppose I should have told her of my intention that day to add to my collection. Whatever way you look at it,she is right.

One last thing guys, I wear the trousers in my house because she lets me.

p.s Anybody wanna buy a 1972 Carrera?
