: I read with interest all your comments regarding this watch and my
: girlfriend and the situation I find myself in. The invoice that
: I have from Bonhams is £1612 which includes all commissions and
: buyers fee etc. It's true that the purchase has caused some
: discomfort at home ( deaf and dumb dinners , sleeping in the
: spare room and a deafening silence for a few days)but I think
: she is coming round to the fact that I like watches and I did
: explain that it is just a cheap one compared to others that she
: has caught a glimpse of. However, she has a valid point when she
: says that the bathroom could be re-fitted or a holiday taken or
: even put the money towards legal fees for the new house in a few
: months time. This was an impulse buy and I must admit that I had
: already had a few cold drinks before bidding on it which could
: have impaired my judgement and I suppose I should have told her
: of my intention that day to add to my collection. Whatever way
: you look at it,she is right.
: One last thing guys, I wear the trousers in my house because she
: lets me.
: p.s Anybody wanna buy a 1972 Carrera?
