Vj 7733 as here is 2 register without date, 7734 2 register with date, closest in design to the automatics, and lastly the 7736 with 3 registers. The only thing that changes in the model designation each time is the 3rd digit, indicating which movement is inside.

When confronted with any of these in the wild, the key is always in the 3rd digit:

- 3 should have no date at 6 o'clock. Meaning no text too, other than the "Swiss" as shown above!!!
- 4 should have a date at 6 o'clock
- 6 should have a 12 hour register at 6 o'clock
