Jack Heuer's Opinion of These

Some months ago, Jack Heuer wrote to me, and indicated that he had no knowledge of this design; he was confident that he had never seen this one before. He thought that this design was in such bad taste that it could not possibly have been designed or authorized by Heuer.

Maybe someone else was "testing", but it appears that it was not Heuer.

Oh, well . . .

: Perhaps this was close to being the classic matt dial std
: production McQueen Monaco that is so well known?

: I think tin the end they chose the correct path, but i have to say
: i think the black subs (albeit with a greyer blue dial) offers a
: look all of its own!

: Jeff has a picture of another alternative Monaco design (with the
: same crazy outside, which i'm sure was not meant to be part of
: the end design) with round subs...now a Monaco with round subs
: just would not have been right!
