Lately, I've been reading and writing about the pilots watches . . . so this one got the draw this morning. Much "character" in the case and crustal!!

: The strap has brought a new life to the watch. It is usually worn
: on a metal bracelet but this suede tan strap gives it a real
: 'summer racing' flavour.
: It will certainly be my holiday companion and - incredible as it
: may sound - it's even kind of enhanced my poor photographic
: skills - nothing Paul Gavin or Abel like of course, but a fairly
: decent shot IMHO.

: Finally a reflection that came to my mind this morning while
: driving to work: of all the watches I have, this is a real 'son'
: of the OtD community, a cooperative effort as:
: - it's been materially been acquired through Jeff - without whom
: etc. - as the seller didn't want to ship outside the US
: - it's been overhauled, serviced and customized by Abel
: - and now, it's sporting a DeVos special one
