Well, my Autavia 7763 landed. I've put it on a honey coloured strap, and it was like putting on an old pair of sneakers - you know, the tatty pair that are so comfy.
The watch itself is far from mint, but the bezel has gone that steel pale grey colour from wear and sun bleaching - it really does look beautiful. Nicer than any mint bezel.
This watch has really surprised me. I bought it, well, basically because it was favourably priced. I thought I'd give it a go. It wasn't a 'I must have that' purchase, and sometimes these are the best sort, the sort when you are pleasantly surprised and feel a really connection with this watch. It has the same sort of 'thing' to it as a passed down heirloom. I feel I can wear it & not worry about bashing it etc.. a nice feeling when you've been used to something mint & babying it all the time.
I thoroughly recommend everyone gets a 'do anything, wabi'd' Heuer!

Still looking for a proper crown for it though!
