: Yes, these are really nice - we don't see them often enough in my
: opinion. When we do see a 3-register 2nd generation Carrera, it
: tends to be the gold plated 73655 and those don't look as nice
: as the N in steel for me.
: One note on the watch - the features such as the double hour
: markers and 1-12 numerals on the 12 hour register mean it's a
: '72 model year watch or later, rather than specifically
: 71/2. It could be from those years, as the 72 MY watches seem to
: creep in in late 1971 but it could also be a couple of years
: afterwards. The serial number would be the clincher of course,
: but we only have piecemeal records for those.

Thank you both for answering me. It's true that it looks very modern although its age. And the clarifications about the exact year of production are very useful and interesting to me. I had a Camaro 7743T too, but I finally sold it. I love Heuer vintage chronographs, especially the hand-wound Autavias from the sixties.
