: I haven't fully explored this blog yet, but it looks promising .
: . . good entry on Yema --
: http://70swatchesgallery.wordpress.com/category/yema/
: Seems that the blog covers 1970s watches, but I can only find
: brands begining with the letters "S" through
: "Z". Is it possible that all the cool watches from the
: 1970s began with those letters?
: Jeff
hi jeff thats my blog thanks for the compliment
yes it only covers watches from the 70s era (late 60s and early 80s)
Is it possible that all the cool watches from the
: 1970s began with those letters?
lol..no here is the explanation...
I have been collecting watches from the 70s for a while,
and considering the lack of info about the period in my own language,
i finally decided to build up a personal website, and put everything together in order that could be easily checked up in acomprehensive way for my fellow countryman collectors.
is this one:
70sWatchesGallery
http://70swatchesgallery.wordpress.com/
In the beguining This was an attempt for my fellow forum
Now migrated to WordPress,
just go for the “S” “so go figure” I expect at least 3 years more
to be able to finish it..
but soon all vintage watches that are worth to be considered
will be there.
This is indeed hard work,
My Goal is to slowly in my spare time,
be able to catalog all the important watches
from the Seventies including all makes and relevant models
from the period, and put some light on the dark stage it was.
I have more than 15,000 photos of rare watches of the 70s,
some are mine and most other are from other collectors of WUS or SCWF and other countries.
And i am going up by brands and models,
including the ones susceptible to come with aftermarket parts,
i do this on porpouse, for other colleagues to learn and check so they make no mistake on their purchases.
Every time I finish a model or gallery
I upload my comments to this Subforum
they have created specially for myself
http://www.foroderelojes.es/forumdisplay.php?f=63
so once i finish everything will make sense.
English is my second language, but as i didnt have enough time to post my comments twice in both languages at the spanish forums in the past,
I Finally decided to build up this blog written in Spanish and English.
I am posting galleries in reverse alphabetical order from Z to A
so when i get to the "H" you will be able to see all the beauties from heuer i store in my hard drive :-)
hope this answers your question
greetings from sunny spain to all
