Maybe staniless steel is much more valuable than stainless, who knows?! ;D
Fine art forgers are sometimes said to include a small, deliberate error so they're not passing off an exact copy (total nonsense, of course, at best it salves their conscience). I wonder if whoever put this watch together read that and decided to take it to the next level!
On that note Rich, have you had any enquiries along the lines of "Why is my horribly repainted, waffle-markered Monaco with blue registers not in your book?" yet, or have the copies all go to cognoscenti? :)
