In the watch on the left, the Cal 11 movement has been modified to Cal 12 standards, so the date-change begins at around 10:30 PM. But don't worry, I have all the original parts from the Cal 11 movement.
The watch on the right is not mine; just visiting ATL for the photo shoot . . . and, come to think of it, I have not checked the date-change.

: I'm qiuite envious Jeff that you are making a transitional leap in
: your photography skills. Well done.
: More to the point - what fantastic models you have before you to
: practice your newly acquired knowledge.
: I have one ponit to raise (and it comes about as i have been guilty
: of this one myself) - try to avoid taking photo's whilst the
: date is in the middle of changing over to the next number. Come
: to think of it, why has the date begun changing over at 23:06 ?
: An early Cal.11 Chronomatic movement should begin the date
: change over at around 23:42 shouldn't it ?
: Good luck fine tuning your photo set up , we look forward to seeing
: your future efforts on some of those most challanging of
: metallic Heuer dials.
: Cheers - Darren
