In Response To: Bit of Diver action... ()

This one was my first 980.006...

A watchmaker local to my parents place - years ago I thought I'd give him a go, he's been there for as long as I can remember. As a 'test' I took in some watches for basic jobs - stem, glass etc.

Took in a 50's Heuer and this diver for a few minor things...

One year later... I go in. He'd lost the stem.. while saying this he was taking off the case back off with a crappy tool & shook the m'ment & dial out, almost dropped it, fumbling with his big fat thumbs pressing all over the hands and dial. Anyway.. I recently sent it off to a trusted friend.. new glass, stem sorted.. (James, posts on here a fair bit)...
