The watchmaker who serviced this watch can't remember if the face was touched-up, but interesting enough he says that IF it was touched up the face would have been sent to Heuer.

: Excelsior Park Chrono which I thought looked better, that got
: stolen from me (so it must have had some kind of value) and then
: I had this one as a replacement, if the dial was sent to Heuer
: for touch-up is still unclear but I'll definately look into that
: on Monday as I still have contact with one of the watchmakers
: from the (now closed) Naval workshop in Copenhagen, maybe he
: remembers, he's about 15 years older than me but has the memory
: of an elephant :-)
