In terms of getting to know the seller, a quick phone call can often be very reassuring. You may learn something about the watch; you will definitely learn a lot more about the seller.

Relying on a written description and sending money to a stranger can be risky . . . a few seconds on the phone can make you feel a lot better about your seller.
