I saw this 2448T on eBay at $9K+ and figured the seller had no idea what he had, plus the poor redial, wrong crown, etc. I emailed him and asked him to email me directly. He did, and we had a converstation on the issues with his watch. I explained them to him, gave him a more realistic value (if watch was correct), model designation and with s/n guided him on year approximation.
First he reduces price to $7.5K, changes title to include model and year. First auction link

Now I see he puts in new add and not forthcoming with the issues.
I guess I should have known when he said he really needed to sell it and what should he do. I did not reply back as my answer would have been clear. Second link
