The c.12 blue dials are a very dark blue but definitely read "blue." The lighter blue variants have been pretty well discussed here, and I think the consensus is that they are not original. Your black beauty looks absolutely original but I don't think I have ever seen another one. The funky scientific scale variation has a black dial, but I am curious if there are any other ones out there and how long the run was.
