Yep, it has been discussed on here last week, when at €2700 some said it was 'doing well'.
I'm sure the purists will baulk at the fact that it's been re-cased, but personally I think it looks superb.. I actually prefer it to the correct PVD case.
I was on this.. I thought it was my opportunity to grab something I really wanted for less than market value, due to the incorrect case. I was willing to go to €5k, and I thought that would do it.
I'm not surprised it made what it it, and, to be frank.. if I could have moved on a few of my other Heuers, I would have been prepared to go to €8k.
The result doesn't surprise me, and it is a superb watch that someone is going to get a lot of pleasure from. I hope it was someone on here.. If it is, I congratulate you. I've bought before from the same seller, and the deal was flawless.
