Well, we missed our end-of-the-third-quarter version of Chuck’s Flea Market (which should have been around September 30), so let’s have a special session, toward the end of October.
For our readers who may not be familiar with it, “Chuck’s Flea Market” is a (theoretically) quarterly happening in which we allow readers to post their Buy / Sell / Trade messages on this discussion forum, where such messages are not usually allowed. This event was first suggested by our friend / legendary collector, Chuck Maddox, who passed away in 2008, and thus it carries Chuck’s name.
Readers can use the October version of CFM to:
- post a For Sale message and get rid of the watches that you have not been wearing lately
- sell off the parts and accessories that you should admit that you may never use
- post a Want To Buy message, to let our readers know about the watches that you are seeking
- propose trades, whether involving watches, parts, bracelets, boxes, etc.
We will open Chuck’s Flea Market on Friday, October 28th, and let it run until Tuesday, November 1st. So get out the old watches and your camera, and imagine how happy you will be when you turn those old watches into some spending money for the holidays.
