I recently purchased the GMT you see below from an Argentinian seller (you might recognize the watch from the bay). Apparently he sold the watch on behalf of the daughter of an Argentinian pilot. He passed away 10 years ago and since then the watch has been kept in a bank safe. So far, so good...
Now the question is: Is it me, or this bezel seems suspicious? Certainly the vivid color raise a flag, but has any of you experience a GMT 2446 with a bezel+insert, or they are all solid pieces, as they seem to be on most of the samples swinging by on OTD...
Thanks for your inputs!
Best,
Francesco
PS. The bezel popped off over the weekend and that opened the 'famous' can of worms....
