Definitely an 1153 serial rather than a 110.253's - the first 1153s have 147xxx serials, so quite an early one too. And with that handset, the dial is in fact from a barrel 110.573, just like all the other Angolan Carreras we have seen. I've never tried it but it looks like the casebacks are interchangeable between second and third generation Carreras and the caseback to match the dial has somehow found its way onto a second gen case. I wouldn't take that as evidence that there were second gen Carreras marked with the FAPLA back I'm afraid. And it's been a small world for decades now - watches and watch parts have emigrated all over the globe, I am rarely surprised to find them far from home any more!
