I'd like to add my 2p worth...
In a nutshell, I agree with Jarl. Sure, there is no 'ultimate' proof in the form of catalogue shots, but what is known, is that no one of us diver nuts has ever come across a tropic strap that has come with a signed buckle. This lack of evidence is evidence itself on my mind.
I've handled dozens upon dozens of Heuer divers, and if you add to that the hundreds that we as collectors have handled, is a fair amount of proof. Add to that, that the Heuer buckles don't really sit well on a tropic, then it's overwhelming.
Cheers
Stewart
: Hi all. I'm going to revive this old thread because it's asking
: exactly what I wanted to know. Jarl's deductions seem reasonable
: and I have no reason to think he's wrong. Just wondering if
: anyone else had an opinion or any experiences putting signed
: buckles on tropic bands?
