I am also in the same state of mind.
I have colleagues who wonder if I'll buy a Rolex when I tell them the price of certain Heuer?
They have all seen an a "great" French publicist who released a phrase on TV
"If you do not have a Rolex at 50, you failed in life"!
Against this I quote Carl Sagan
"Advertising makes people not trust their judgments, and it teaches them to be stupid. "
But it takes all kinds to make a world
And freedom of choice is essential
I like certain vintage Rolex, but I prefer the diversity of Heuer
