Old faithful

It is not a rare dial variation. It has an inferior movement. It's an economy model. It's a late execution. So should be uninteresting on all counts. But this was the first Carrera I ever bought. I lost interest in it when I got into Autavias, as it was a bit small and a bit subtle. Decided to sell it but didn't get a good offer so it survived in the collection. I am so happy I kept it. It is one of my favourites in the collection. Beautiful balance to the watch. I love the subtle change between the pearl dial and the white subdials. It is just perfect how it is. There are rarer and cooler Carreras in the collection, but this is still one of my favourites...
