My Son's First "Real" Watch
In Response To: What to buy as a FIRST WATCH for my 18 year old son ()

For his 15th birthday, I bought my son a vintage Omega Seamaster, midsize. I thought a full size watch was really more than would look right for a young man, plus the midsize was far more reasonably priced. I wasn't entirely convinced that he would wear it, even though he loved the watch and admired my collection.

Most importantly, if he lost or broke it, I wouldn't be devastated.
