I went to the TopGear Live show in London on the weekend. My son is more of a car fan than me, but it was fun. I liked the more classic cars from the 60s and 70s, he preferred the 2011 models...but he agreed the Muira was beautiful. Have to say even for a vintage snob, the 458 is as classic as any of the old 60-70s Ferraris.
Anyway, on to the point of the post. The TopGear magazine on sale at the show had a special insert section called "Cars & Watches". It was pretty good, 1163 Autavia on the cover photo, and an article about Heuer timing and formula 1. But what was funny that in their introductory section, they managed to talk about Mcqueen, Le Man and Siffert without mentioning Heuer! I guess they felt if they mentioned Heuer too much all the wannabe advertisers (Raymond Weil, Seiko, TW Steel, etc) would not pay for their adverts in the section!
