The watches look quite different between the two executions Lanny, is that what is causing some doubt/confusion?

I don't have a good photo of the first execution version, but the steel 2447 looks like this:

Whereas the second execution 2448 looks like this:

Personally, I prefer any first gen Carrera model in first execution to second, but other people's mileage may vary.
