Some months ago i did fall in love for 1.st time in a Heuer Autavia.. I bought it with my heart, and have also check the ref number of the watch and serial number, it was looking great and i was very confident in buying the watch.
One thing i was sure about was the tachometer might not be the right one to fit the watch, so i bought it can be changed.. I always wanted to get it restored by Tag Heuer in swiss so it would be authentic again.. Today i opened the watch to see the movement while i was chatting with another Heuer owner, and i did see that the movement is a Valjoux 7733, unsigned bridge.. :-(
I goes now that i might have bought at "hewer" autavia which have been put together by different parts.?? Or could the bridge have been changed, to a No Name in the past.?or maybe the whole movement..?
I'm a bit disappointed at the moment, if it's not a genuine Heuer watch..
Have anyone been in the same situation?
Regards
Schmidt
