Hi guys,
Been lusting this for the longest time, since I started serious with watches way back in 2004. Every time one pops in front of me, I was never financially ready, for some reason. I have seen at least 5-6 pieces flying past me.
Hence, I did what I need to (see my sales corner record? lol) and finally found the RIGHT one.
Took a long time to negotiate with (a very reputable watch collector) the seller and finally got it. Not cheap but so far, I have noticed that the market is getting thinner and thinner with these and those really nice pieces from Europe has been asking for astronomically high prices. (could easily buy a couple of nice Calatravas with their asking price, no kidding!) And I have been witnessing year after year, appreciation of prices for the blue dials. Simply amazing and I better snap out of my observing mode and act.
Here is my prize:
Early 1133B powered by caliber 11/i. Unpolished case and an awesome looking dial. Whats more, it came with the MKI bracelet which probably is rarer than the watch itself.
I am so going to wear this for awhile. ;-)
Hope you guys enjoy the quick shots. Cheers!
