I have machined some existing caseback to take a glass crystal as a display back but it it tricky. Most original backs are really too thin to do it right and if you make a mistake, you are in deep trouble! I don't try to do it now and I do not have the equipement to add the threads to a new replacement back. Nice idea however. The Buren movements are like nothing else out there.
