New arrival, a variation on the more often seen Abercrombie & Fitch 1950's so called "Clunker" (so called by Jeff).
The new arrival is on the right. The dial is more coppery and a different finish, it's not just patina. Everything looks good under a loupe. Movement and back case markings look correct as well. Serial number is a 6 digit number (42xxxx, if I remember correctly), whereas the one on the left has a five digit number. The cases look identical, in height as well.
Any one (Jeff?) have any views on this? Whatever the experts say, I really like it. Very happy with it and a different feel to the one on the left, so nice to have both in the collection.
