hi
as jeff will testify, i've been looking for a nice cheap gold Carrera for the last 5 years or so. recently two have turned up on ebay, one from italy, one from germany, both rather too rich for my blood. however in my searches i had found only watches that conformed to the catalogue listings ie they had 'champagne' dials. both of these nos Carreras have silver dials. i don't think they are wrong as they have gold applied markers so the dial type is not from any other Carrera, and everything else seems correct.
however why have 2 suddenly turned up?
is there a secret cache?
is it the same watch?
is it time to add another watch to the MOAT?
naturally i have no interest in the sale of this watch and do not know the seller.
